Spanish business visa
Migration Program Details & Application

Program Overview
The Spanish business visa (Short-stay Schengen C type, within 90 days) is mainly used for short-term activities such as conferences, exhibitions, and business negotiations. As long as the stay does not exceed 90 days, this visa allows free travel within the Schengen Area. Below is a complete list of required documents and procedures based on official requirements.
📋 Required Application Materials Checklist
1. Appointment and application form
• Application form: Complete the form and attach a recent color photo with a white background (26-35mm wide, 32-45mm high).
• Appointment confirmation: BLS Visa Application Centre appointment confirmation.
• Insurance Policy: Medical coverage of at least €30,000 (approximately RMB 300,000) must cover the entire Schengen Area and the duration of stay. Note: Insurance included with credit cards usually does not meet these requirements.
2. Basic domestic certificates
• Original passport: Valid for at least 3 months (6 months or more recommended) and with two blank pages. Please provide any old passports as well.
• Photocopies: Passport first page, all visa pages, and all information pages of household registration book.
3. Work and business certificates
• Original employment certificate: Printed on company letterhead, stamped with the company seal and signed by the responsible person. The certificate must include the position, monthly salary, start date, clearly state the business purpose, itinerary and who will bear the expenses, and guarantee that the employee will return to their home country on time.
• Business license copy: Must be stamped with the company seal. Public institutions should provide a copy of their organization code certificate stamped with the company seal.
• Original invitation letter from the Spanish side: Must be issued by a Spanish company and include information about the inviter, the invitee, a detailed schedule, and fees. For exhibitions/conferences, a separate booth confirmation letter or registration certificate is required.
4. Proof of Funds and Assets
• Original bank statements: Statements from the past 3-6 months, with a balance typically above 50,000 RMB. Salary account statements are recommended as they demonstrate income stability and sufficient funds.
• Supporting assets (optional): Copies of property ownership certificate and vehicle registration certificate, which can help with visa issuance.
5. Proof of itinerary
• Flight booking confirmation: A round-trip flight booking confirmation in English. It is recommended not to pay for or issue tickets before the visa is issued.
• Proof of accommodation: Hotel booking confirmations covering the entire trip. If the inviting party provides accommodation, this must be clearly stated in the invitation letter.
📝 Core Application Requirements
• Core Purpose: The purpose is clear and limited to business activities (investment, negotiation, meetings, etc.). Work or part-time jobs are not allowed, and participants must return to their home country after the activity concludes.
• Financial capability: Ability to prove sufficient financial resources in the Schengen Area (usually by referring to the local minimum subsistence standard).
💡 Application Suggestions
• Time management: It is recommended to apply 3 weeks to 3 months in advance (official processing time is usually 15 calendar days), and you can submit your application up to 6 months in advance.
• Rigorous principle: All documents not in Spanish or English (such as household registration book, business license) must have a translation.
• Avoid crowds: May, October, and the period after the Spring Festival are peak seasons, so try to avoid them.
• Multiple-entry application: If you travel frequently, you can check the "Multiple entries" box on the application form and attach an explanation letter stating your needs (such as visiting a factory). You may have a chance to obtain a long-term multiple-entry visa.
